What does 925 sterling silver mean?

925 means 92.5% pure silver, alloyed with copper for strength. Pure silver is too soft to hold up as a chain. Every chain in this collection is solid 925 and stamped.

Which chain is strongest for a pendant?

Box and belcher links are the most forgiving under the weight of a pendant, because the load spreads evenly across a solid link. Herringbone and snake chains look superb but dislike sharp bends, so they suit lighter pendants or wearing alone.
