What chain length suits me?

40–45 cm (16–18 inches) sits at the collarbone — best for layering or pendants. 50–55 cm (20–22 inches) falls just below — flattering with low necklines. 60 cm and longer drops onto the chest. Hold one of your existing chains against your collarbone to gauge.

Are your gold chains solid or plated?

Both — and the product page always tells you which. "9ct" or "18ct gold" is solid gold; "gold-plated silver" is silver with a gold layer. Solid gold doesn't tarnish or wear off; plated gold typically lasts one to three years of daily wear before the layer thins.

Can a chain be shortened after purchase?
