Peacock plumage, miniature and luminous.

A pair of earrings shaped like stylised peacock feathers, each filled with vibrant cloisonné and champlevé enamel — deep teals, blues, emerald greens, and a jewel-tone eye at the tip. Long and elegant at around 40 × 15mm, they catch the light as they move and read as proper statement earrings, not everyday studs. A favourite for occasions when you want the jewellery to be the whole outfit.

Peacock feathers have been a symbol of beauty, renewal and unashamed display across cultures for centuries — from Byzantine mosaics to Art Nouveau jewellers like Lalique. Wearing a pair is a quiet way to give yourself permission to take up a little space.

Handmade by Natalia on the Central Coast of Australia using both champlevé and cloisonné techniques. For the champlevé, recesses are hand-engraved into the 999 fine silver feathers before each colour is packed in and fired. The cloisonné detailing uses fine silver wires soldered into the petal and eye shapes to hold pools of colour side by side. Each earring passes through the kiln more than ten times to build the depth of the teal and emerald — every firing is unforgiving, so no two pairs are ever identical. The ear wires are 925 sterling for strength.
