Pink Heart Enamel Silver Pendant

A heart that wears pink on purpose.

A small heart pendant, 24 × 19mm including the bail, in saturated pink vitreous enamel on fine silver — champlevé and cloisonné techniques layered for depth and shine. The shape is classic, the colour is not: this is hot pink with intent, not a timid blush. Wears beautifully as a daily piece or a sentimental gift.

Hearts have been worn as pendants for centuries — a quiet shorthand for love, self-love, or simply keeping one close. Rendered in pink, this one leans more joyful than romantic: a piece for someone on the up rather than someone grieving the last one.

Handmade by Natalia on the Central Coast of Australia using both champlevé and cloisonné techniques. For the champlevé, recesses are hand-engraved into the 999 fine silver heart before each colour is packed in and fired. The cloisonné detail uses fine silver wires soldered into the pattern to hold pools of colour side by side. The piece passes through the kiln more than ten times to build up the saturation of the pink; every firing is unforgiving, so no two hearts are ever identical. The bail is sterling silver for strength.
