Champleve Enamel Silver Ring Cherry Blossom

The cherry blossom — sakura in Japan — is one of the world's most loved flowers, and one of the most symbolic. It stands for beauty held briefly, the quiet courage to bloom knowing the bloom won't last, and the deep appreciation of a moment before it passes. Handmade on the Central Coast of Australia by artist-jeweller Natalia using the traditional champlevé technique — one of the oldest forms of enamelling. The petals are engraved by hand into 999 fine silver before any enamel is laid; the engraved detail stays visible beneath the colour, shifting in the light. The recesses are filled with vitreous glass enamel and fired more than ten times in the kiln to build the depth and brilliance of the finished surface. Every firing is unforgiving — the colour only reveals itself once the kiln cools — so no two cherry blossoms are ever identical. Made in your ring size so it's truly yours from the start.
