Ocean Enamel Silver Pendant

A statement enamel pendant painted in the colours of a real body of water: pale turquoise at the top where light hits the surface, deepening through teal into navy at the base, with tiny air bubbles caught through the depths as though someone just surfaced from a dive. At 60mm including the bail, it's a deliberate showpiece — a pendant you wear when you want the jewellery to do the talking.

Handmade by Natalia on the Central Coast of Australia. The ombré from surface-light to deep water is built up through more than ten firings in the kiln — each colour layer fused, cooled, and fired again before the next tone can go on. The bubbles in the dark depths are enamelling tricks that can only be done one at a time, by hand. Every firing is unforgiving, so no two Ocean pendants are ever identical; the piece you see is the piece you receive.
