Pink and Purple Enamel Silver Earrings

A pair of butterfly-wing earrings shaped and enamelled to look like real tropical wings — pink and purple vitreous enamel on fine silver, with the subtle wing-vein detailing of the real thing. Each wing is about 29 × 12mm, with the full drop landing around 40–45mm from ear to tip. Long enough to be noticed, light enough to wear all day.

Butterflies are an old symbol of transformation and resilience — the change earned slowly, then all at once. Pink softens it with joy; purple adds depth and quiet. A pair for anyone who has come through a hard chapter and wants to wear the memory of it proudly.

Handmade by Natalia on the Central Coast of Australia using champlevé vitreous enamel. Recesses are hand-engraved into each 999 fine silver wing before the colours are packed in and fired — the engraving shows through the translucent enamel and gives each wing its depth. The pieces pass through the kiln more than ten times to build up the pinks and purples; every firing is unforgiving, so no two pairs are ever identical. The ear wires are 925 sterling for strength.
